Introducing the Smelter Furnace – Model 42 P
The Smelter Furnace – Model 42 P stands as a pinnacle of engineering, designed to deliver exceptional reliability and prolonged service life. Built with a rugged steel frame, this furnace withstands the demanding conditions of a workshop environment while being equally suited for a laboratory bench top. Its robust construction handles extreme thermal and mechanical stress, making it a versatile and durable addition to any setting.
Superior Insulation and Energy Efficiency
The hot face chamber of the Model 42 P features low thermal mass refractory brick, backed by lightweight low thermal mass ceramic fiber. This combination of materials provides superior insulation, minimizing heat loss and ensuring energy efficiency. Iron chrome wire elements, strategically mounted in grooves on the two side walls, allow for consistent and uniform heating throughout the chamber. This design is ideal for high-temperature applications, with the furnace reaching a maximum operating temperature of 1300ºC and maintaining a continuous temperature of 1250ºC.
Advanced Air Flow System
One standout feature of the Model 42 P is its advanced air flow system and chimney. These components effectively remove undesirable gaseous and volatile materials from the chamber, enhancing safety and ensuring a cleaner working environment.
User-Friendly Control Panel
The furnace includes a user-friendly control panel with a digital PID temperature control system. This system allows for precise temperature regulation, with emissivity control input settings for different materials. Thus, it ensures optimal performance for a wide range of applications.
Comprehensive Safety Features
Safety is a top priority with the Model 42 P. The furnace includes multiple safety interlocks and emergency shut-off mechanisms, providing peace of mind during operation. It complies with international safety standards, making it a reliable choice for both workshop and laboratory use. The door, hinged on the left, features a gas-tight seal, further enhancing safety and efficiency.
Durable Construction and Corrosion Resistance
The entire cabinet undergoes a seven-stage zinc phosphate anti-corrosion treatment, followed by a durable epoxy powder coat finish. This treatment ensures long-lasting protection against corrosion, maintaining the furnace’s appearance and functionality over time. Additionally, the furnace features a contactless infrared sensor with cooling fans and interlocked cooling to protect the sensor after shutdown. A fan extraction system maintains a safe operating environment.
