The hot face chamber of the Model 42 P features low thermal mass refractory brick, backed by lightweight low thermal mass ceramic fiber. This combination of materials provides superior insulation, minimizing heat loss and ensuring energy efficiency. Iron chrome wire elements, strategically mounted in grooves on the two side walls, allow for consistent and uniform heating throughout the chamber. This design is ideal for high-temperature applications, with the furnace reaching a maximum operating temperature of 1300ºC and maintaining a continuous temperature of 1250ºC.

Advanced Air Flow System

One standout feature of the Model 42 P is its advanced air flow system and chimney. These components effectively remove undesirable gaseous and volatile materials from the chamber, enhancing safety and ensuring a cleaner working environment.

The entire cabinet undergoes a seven-stage zinc phosphate anti-corrosion treatment, followed by a durable epoxy powder coat finish. This treatment ensures long-lasting protection against corrosion, maintaining the furnace’s appearance and functionality over time. Additionally, the furnace features a contactless infrared sensor with cooling fans and interlocked cooling to protect the sensor after shutdown. A fan extraction system maintains a safe operating environment.
